im currently in the process of changing my axle..but i can't even get the spindle lock nut off. it wouldnt budge at all with a wrench...so i went and rented a 32mm socket and cant even get it off with a breaker bar. any ideas??

either blast it off with an impact or use a cheater bar for more leverage. that nut can be pretty stubborn sometimes

edit:it was all rusted in

get a can of penetrating oil let it soak into the nut

 

make sure the lip that sticks out isn't crushed in anywhere. I'm not sure if they do this from the factory or only if the axle has been changed, but its WAY easier if you unbend it.
