Default Fuel Cutting Out.

What might be the problem?

Im not sure what it might be but, recently while i am driving i could be on the gas but it would just seem like i let off of it, its kinda hard to explain but im sure it happened to someone before so hopefully yall know what i am talkin about.

could it be a distributor or something cause i have gas and i have plenty of oil.

Had another important factor sometimes when i am sitting in idle my car idles very low like about 500rpm, or it would just cut off out of the blue could this be connected to what i mentioned above, and if not what might that be.

First thing I would do is a full tune-up. cap rptpr plugs wires (if they are old) and the fuel filter.

If that does not help you might want to search and find out if there is a way to check the fuel pump. Maybe it is getting old and beginig to fail.

Aem cai, JDM ITR 4-1 header, comptech catback exhaust, chipped p28 by phearable.net, vafc2, and Act stage 2 clutch.

Another thing is that my exhaust came detached from my cat so i am basically running open header. The exhaust is coming off today and I have a full ITR exhaust that is going on.

make sure that chipped p28 can handle the fuel it needs to deliver to the engine or else it'll cut off cuz i seen this happen already even with fuel upgrades so u might jus wanna take a look into it

try plugin bak your old ecu and see if this helps cuz this was my problem and i had to get the new ecu reprogrammed to specs cuz i have an h22 and had the LS ecu which couldn't deliver enough fuel then i switched out to the P72 GSR which works perfectly fine

Or it could be a simple idle adjustmest screw fix. But what was said above are all possibilities, too. Have you checked for a code?

Pull out a plug and check if your running rich or lean. You can search and find tons on how to read plugs. If you are running lean replace your fuel filter if its old and check your injectors, again search ton of info on how to check them. If your car has alot of miles its possible the fuel pump could be going out, again its easy to check. good luck
