Default CRX PICS

Does anyone have pics of a crx with the black moulding shaved all around the car? About to get mine painted and was thinking about doing this. i know some people just paint this but i was thinking of removing it all together.

Thanks,
Mike

seems like alot of work for nothing. Just paint them.

Youd be filling in on metal and plastic, you'd probably end up getting craske in the future.

If you paint them doesn't the paint fall off easy?

pull the trim off, then paint the car, put them back on after its painted. the paint wont stick to that trim no matter what u do. u can have them painted, but it'll flake off in like a month. so its up to u.

Paint doesn't fall off. If you get a shitty paint job it'll probably peel all over.

my opinion, if you're gonna do it, just do it.

its alot of work, but 100% worth it in the long run. i'm in the process of doing it on my 4g4d... take the moulding off, weld in a plate, make it all nice and even and flat, then use some fibreglass to finish it all off (not alot, just enough to work with)...

definatly worth it. looks good

Those aren't shaved moldings, that's the Mugen kit.

imo do it the right way and do it ONCE.
Either take the mouldings off, have the car painted and reinstall them or shave'm and then have it painted. But think about the stock fr. and rear bumpers...they have a black moulding in them and the paint will peel so...

Personally, I would leave the mouldings alone.

i've been thinking about this also. Does the car look good with it all one color, or with the moldings painted black and the car a diff color. i duno.

I personally like all older Hondas (EF, DA) with moldings. CRX's even with the Mugen kit sometimes looks tacky.

I personally like the black moulding. I would choose a painted moulding over a shaved moulding any day.

Quick pic from outside the window

Keep the molding black
