i got an 88hf with a sohc zc motor...running a pg7 ecu 88hf starter
and flywheel...
when i finished swapping my car it would start on the first click...
like a week later it sometimes it wouldnt start it would just click but
after a couple of clicks it would start.... Then now im at the point where
it doesnt start....So i thought it was the starter
i went and tested it at autozone and it pass...starter was good...
so then i went and tested the battery...it was really messed up so
i bought a new one ...I got the optima gel battery....

The car started with the new battery.....but like the next day it would
do that click sound and wouldnt start after a couple of clicks....now again
im at the point where it wont start...
the lights and the stereo work with the ignition on and everything
powers up but the car just wont start...
i clean the starter and ecu cable and still nothing..

So now im thinking it could be the cables or the main reley..
any help is welcome

my car does start
when we push start it...

 

did u check ur alternator

 

but shouldnt it still turn on with the battery?
i still got the car to turn on by push starting it...
ill push start it and ill disconnect the battery and
see if its bad..

 

try changing the alternator
the same thing happened to my homey and it was his alt
autozone will test your alternator for free

i got it running now....
it was the starter cable from
the wiring harness the lil one...
it was dirty...forgot to clean that one.
now it starts on the first click...i used
limon to clean it...seriously
