had the car 1wk today!!! haven't done anything to the car other then put gas in it. was riding around tonight and the light came on. the only reason i'm askin is because i dont have an owners manual. any ideas?????

It goes off 7500 miles after it was last reset.

To reset it just hold down the trip button, turn the key to acc and hold it for ten seconds or so. Then turn it all the way and keep holding the button for ten more seconds. Then start the car and keep holding it until it goes away.

And it'll come on again in 7500 miles.
