what would ya pick a h22 or a gsr for a 91 teg?
yo i need help i got a 91 ls but i wanna do a swap idk if i should get a h22 or a gsr.. im wondering if ya tell me wut ya would get or got and say y u like it ight wun
h22 in a DA lol i dont think so
DA integras have a much smaller engine bay then dc 94+ integras
so DA's can't have jackson racing super chargers, vortech super chargers, or h22 mtors with out heaver modification and a lot of cuting and customizing to the chasis and the frame and or the firewall
if you want power just boost a the stock ls. it will be fast and if it blows ls long blocks can be had for $200-500 if you have more money and want more power build a b vtec b seris and boost it

heck no! more torque = daily driver heaven. H22 rules this department, mister. and besides it would be faster. it's not really any heavier than a GSR; practically the same weight. and it has boatloads more torque. the GSR might make more power more easily (less mods) but the H22's torque will probably still make it win.

from personal experience's---I hate H22's-- and it woulnt be easy to work on in a integra especialy a DA....B-series all the way dude.. or K but thats probly out of your price range...

scratch that. for about the same money you'll have more power and torque. and you'll have higher maintenance bills (gas, oil, etc.) so think accordingly. and if it's not tuned well the engine won't last very long, where a stock or bolt-ons Honda motor (no turbo/supercharger/N2O) will last basically forever if you take decent care of it.

almost totally not true. it's not different enough to make much of a deal. and if you're doing an engine swap, you won't be having stock suspension, so even with the extra 75lbs or so, if you could notice it with stock suspension (probably), you won't after some nice struts and springs (or just struts w/ stock springs). besides most people in America are fat, and you don't see them jumping on a treadmill to lose that 50-75lbs off their car. no, they run around driving through town fat and with a friend who may also be fat, so they're running around with 200+lbs of extra junk in their car. it will handle worse with a friend and/or belly than an H22. the friend has a higher center of gravity.
