Question about converting cable speedo to electronic

Default Question about converting cable speedo to electronic

Anyone have any links on how to do this w/ the b16?? I as advised to pull out the speedo unit and take it apart. Us the bottom half of the cable one and use the electronic top half of another one. Does this work ????

put the electronic vss in the tranny, one wire is ground, another is 12v, and the other is signal for your electronic cluster(not usdm ef cluster) the signal goes to the ecu,and the cluster...

I used a 92 D series VSS when I put a gsr cluster in my HB. Just like droppedcrxsi said about the wiring. Very straightforward.
