Hankook Ventus...
R-s2:
Well, just installed a set of the 205/50 15 Ventus R-S2 tires and my first impression is that they are grippy as hell. However, when accelerating the car darts to the left and when decelerating the car darts to the right.
1. Car has had a recent alignment(after dartyness)
2. Car has Tokico ill/GCs
3. Car is lowered ~2 inches
4. Wheels have been balanced
5. SK2s upper control arms
6. ?????
Why is this car darting to the left under accl? This is NOT torque steer. The steering wheel stays flat and does not pull to the left. What do you think it could be?
Thanks!

Crown in the road? :S
If something was loose on the driver side, maybe it'd pull left under accel, and right under decel... *shrug* Lift it up and check it out? Are you worried about it?

Thanks for the replies.
The pull/push is VERY consistant on all road surfaces. They just repaved I295 near my house and have had several chances to diagnose this problem. Sorry I don't have the specs on the alignment but Dyke Tire in Richmond Va did the alignment and reputed to be very good. The severity of the push/pull increases with car speed. I've checked all suspension points and all of the bolts are torqued correctly. I rotated the tires front to back and the problem is still there. BTW, these are brand new tires and all tire pressures are within a lb.

I previously had a set of Yoko ES 100s and other than being a little worn, they tracked pretty straight and exhibited none of the darty characteristics that the Hankooks are showing.
thanks
