i just finished installing my fog lights. i took it to some shop to have them wire it up with my parking lights. so they finish wiring it up and everything is fine. i get home and i put the alarm on and the foglights blink in conjunction with my parking lights. ok, so after i go to the store to pick up some food and drink, i realize that my gauge cluster is not on nor my climate control. my problem is when i activate my alarm my gauge cluster lights up but notparking lights and when im driving at night my center console and gauge cluster dont light up and i also dont get that annoying beeep sound when you accidently leave yourelights on anymore aswell. could it be a fuse or some wiring that went wrong? someone please help me thanks

 

have you checked all the fuses under the dash??

 

no i havent yet, but i just remembered when he did the wire splicing he didnt disconnect the battery. damn i wonder if something is fried and i just got this damn foglights from honda for 200 bucks!!!!

 

what fuse is the one for the center console lights and the gauge cluster fuse also? should i put in a stronger fuse (different number) ?

 

you should bring it back to the shop that installed the foglights. never put a higher numbered fuse to replace the one in there.

 

he also cut the foglight harness to do the parking light "trick" came out clean but now im like wtf!!! what is causing my **** to do this and the shop is closed tomorrow and have to wait till next saturday when i have time, this blows a big one!!!
