How does the TYPE R front lip attach?
Jus curious. Im thinking of adding a nice lower air damn but i dont want to pop-rivet the airdam on my whole bumper.
So what im thinking is purchasing just an airdamn and then pop-rivet the shield to it for lower coverage. Then, if i want to take it off, i just take the "lip" part off and im ok.
My vision of what im wanting to do may be blurry, so if you could just explain where, and how the R lip is attatche to a 98> front bumper, id really appreciate it.

I just put a new lip on my R. It just attaches under the front bumper with half a dozen screws or so. There is also two screws at each end of the lip in the well with the tire.
......thats what i needed to know......Jus curious if there was any 3M tape or such.
Any clues at to prices......sure hope its LESS than a wings west W-type lip. 230+ bucks........ARE THEY CRAZY?!

you're probably looking at least that...if not closer to 300...unless you can find one used...
then the paint factor comes in...brand new it won't match unless you have NHP or FBP for your GSR...used may be a better way to go, since you're going to have to paint it

I'm selling one that is slightly scratched and painted yellow. I won't be getting pics of it up next month after my wedding. The damage isn't that bad. I just wanted a new one. If you get a OEM lip, it comes painted and lists for $400.
Havent called Acura yet, but you HAFTA order one PAINTED?! Im not even gonna paint the thing, my car is not "pristine" lets just say. It serves its purpose though.... 
Actually, arent the OEM BODY KIT front spoiler, the same as the ITR front lip? I think so?

LOL! Thanks Bryan! Its deffinetly alot quicker up top now past 6800rpms now that i have a proper sized belt on it.

I got a extra lip from my R....I sanded it down and it just needs to be primared and painted...Willing to sell..but i dont have the screws and bolts
