Default crx has a ton of oversteer, how can i correct?

ok, i have an 88 crx si, b16 swap. its on tokico blues in the rear with ground control coilovers, and adjustables struts (brand unknown) in the front. other than that just a strut bar in front. went auto-xing today for my first time. the car in just about every corner want to oversteer really bad. and so did all the other crx's there. how can this be corrected, i know like a dx rex and hatch have a ton of understeer and i like that more. oh ya, im running 195/60/14 all the way around.

Couple things: first, your car didn't look like it was oversteering that much. If it feels like it is to you, and you're not experienced, it's PROBABLY driver error. Don't take offense to that, the whole point of autoxing is to learn how to drive, and no one is perfect when they first begin. That car with that setup is just not an oversteering monster, so there's gotta be something else going on.

Second, that's gotta be the absolute lamest course I've ever seen. Does it change farther down the road or something? I mean, that's just like a silly continuous semi-slalom.

indeed. Also i didn't see ne wheel lift or rear end coming around. Hell ive got kyb's and sportline's and it doesn't over steer like i would want it.

i think it has alot to do with the fact that the rears tires are really weathered, their kinda shitty, so im gonna throw some yokohamas on my 15" si's in the moring and see how it does for day 2.

it could a lot of factors. i know in my EG before i got better suspension i had alot of trouble with oversteer, however it seems more expirence, stiffer suspension and a good alignment has helped so much.

ya i have no doubt that an alignment would help a ton. the wheel is cocked slightly to the left, but it does drive straight.

when i put my sparco wheel on it was cocked to the left a bit how that all worked out with the alignment, but as stated just learn to drive the car, try not to lift off the throttle so abruptly. i realized my last event how to drive through oversteer during a rain event. the more seat time the better!

The steering wheel thing has to do with the steering rack tie rod ends. You can have a straight alignment, but if those little guys are uneven (one longer, one shorter), you get the cocked steering wheel.
