Default brake lines not coming off

i own a 92 cx hb just got a set of ss brake lines, went at the front ones for a whyle and they finally came off so i was happy about that and got the ss lines on......... then i moved on to the back thinkin it was gonna be same and its been 3 days later and the F%kR$ are still on, i have tried wd-40, liquid wrench, beating the **** out of them and they still wont come off at all............ and now i am out of all ideas and i dont kno what to do........ someone help

my friend suggested i heat them up with a blow torch and try removing them, i dont kno about taht, brake oil and flames i doubt that is good????

which end can you not get off?the end on the chassis side or the caliper end?
i'm assuming the chassis side,as they tend to be the hardest.
first try a proper size line wrench.a regular open end wrench will easily slip.
if that doesn't work, you can try a pair of vise-grip pliers.
as a last resort, you could try heating the fitting area with a torch.be careful not to heat it to the point of melting/cutting any of the fittings or lines.i really don't think it will be necessary,as i've never had one of these i couldn't break loose with the vise-grips.

yeah i used 10mm line wrenches or brake wrenches that i baught and i tried and tried and am to the point of stripping the bolt. it's the chassi side, i will try it with vice grips and see what happens.

hahaha pipewrench i dont think you can get a pipewrench around that line. have you tried to put two wrenches together for some strength? install your first wrench on the nut, and grab another 12 mm or so wrench stick the loop through the back part of the wrench that is on the brake line. usually that works for me. Good luck brake lines suckk A$$$$$$$

pipe wrench is like a vise grip but it's a big *** ****... if that thing fits in there, i'm sure you'll have no problem taking the lines out with that

i think the problem is that the wrench is slipping on the fitting.you can't use a boxe-end wrench.the open end of a line wrench will probably spread apart and slip before you need the extra torque from a linked wrench.

That's a pipe wrench, and yes, it'll get that fitting off. Rounded off fittings are no problem. it'll just grab on and make short work of your problem.

PB Blaster will lossen them right up. That combined with a set of vice gribs is what I used in my rear disc swap. The only thing with the vice grips is it really messes up the nut. So tightening them again is a hassle.
