Default upper control arms... worth it?

hey guys i have my first auto-x tomorrow at fostoria, ohio and i am prepping my car for it right now... as i was putting in my new shocks i realized that my upper control arms look pretty shot... the ball joint can easily be moved so i was wondering if it be of any benefit to me if i were to get some brand new ones... i know theyre like $90/ each at the parts store but i can get a pretty big discount on them... thanks a lot

You already know the answer to this question....but, incase you don't, here's a rule of thumb to go by: If its worn out, fix it.

Go ahead and fix them. The tie rods and lower ball joints probably need replacing too.

make a difference? If yours are worn, then new ones will improve handling quality, no doubt in my mind.
