question on valves for LS head

Default question on valves for LS head

i am gonna end up doing a mild build on my LS motor. i have opted to look for some flar valves............anyways, if i use flat valves, will it raise my compression?? if soo, how much will it raise it??

i havent found anyone that advertises that they make flat valves for a non vtec head. however they are usually good for .2 increase

w3rd, mill your head/thinner head gasket will increase compression more than flat valves anyways..

$ for $ youd get a much better compression gain with pistons... 200 bux or so for some b16 or jdm type r pistons and youll be mid 11's where flat valves will be at least 200 and only get ya 2 tenths

Endynew makes flat face valves for a B18b, however I would look into going oversize valves rather than flat face valves. You can get 1mm oversize for Intake and exhaust from Ferrea, or you can get a custom set for the intake that are 2mm oversize.
