I recently swapped a d16z6 into my friends 93 VX and its running on the stock vx ecu and 5 wire o2 sensor. We tried hooking up the 5 wire harness to the 4 wire o2 sensor using advice from another HT member but we could not get it to work right. How can i do this conversion? Do i have to switch any ECU pins or wires in the shock tower harness? What wires do i use for the 4 wire o2, what slot do i put them in on the 4 wire plug and what do i do with the remaining wires left over from the harness? Any info and help is highly appreciated. Thanks.

This is how I did mine. The wiring colors will be different and the ECU pinouts may be as well. I only have expereince with OBD2 cars

that's how I did mine.

when they say yellow/blk for the evap, injectors, iacv, I just ran a wire all the way to the top right of the engine bay and spliced into any of the yellow/blk wires for the relay(tons of yellow/blk wires running to the same plug)

p.s. I have a VX hatch too, with non VX motor.
