clicking in the rear

Default clicking in the rear

when i shift from 1st to 2nd and when i start going somtimes i hear a click on the right rear . any ideas? poss the axle, ???????

my cousin has the same problem. from what i've heard, you need to torque the axle nuts down to 200 lb/inch.

Mine did the same thing and that axel bullshit doesnt always solve the problem. My rear differential went bad. I needed a new final drive and a differential assembly, all the spacers and bearing and seals too. It cost $3,000, but it was done at Honda and I bought an extended warranty when I got the car. I didnt pay a dime. Just got the car back 2 days ago.

axle nuts are the problem...i just had mine torqued down and problem gone...

not hard at all, go buy a torq wrench to goes up to 200+ lbs. take off your wheel, undent the cap, and retorq it.

same thing happened to my diff. it was also covered under warranty. mine still makes the clicking noise though. so i will have to check out the axle nut thing. thanks guys
