Searched - How much is a 96 Accord front end?
Like the topic says, about how much would a 96 accord front end cost ? Fenders, Headlights, hood, and bumper. Also, I how much is a 96 accord auto tranny ? Friend just got hit and run and was wonderin if its worth restoring the car or take the insurance and buy a new car. I don't know how much he's getting for insurance by the way. Thanks in advance.
What you're looking for is what's refered in Body Shop circles as a Front End Clip.
And the price of it will change according to what State/County it is located in, and the demand (how many other people want it).
Your best bet is to locate what you need in your local area. Reason??, to ship that thing from just about anywhere will be hideously expensive.
Any prices here will be a mute point since I doubt anyone has an unused clip hanging around, and the anticipated shipping expenses would almost double your cost.
If you've got a friend in the Body Shop business, see if you could buy a clip through him (at his cost).
Perhaps there's someone in here that's purchased a clip that can give you an idea of the price.
If "he" got hit as hard as you say, he'll also be looking at hidden damage under the sheet metal. Without straightening that, nothing will bolt up straight.
With the anticipated cost of the Transmission, and the body shop repairs, it might make sense to bail out of the car

...look man... ...if you want everything brand new... you are going to spend no less than 650 or even more....
So, my friend Vision Boy, I think you should pay a visit to a junkyard and search for all the parts you are looking for.
Fenders and the bumper (cover) you can find at ebay, at a very reasonable price, but... parts may have a imperfection which is not a major problem, since they are just "bolt-ons".
Junkyard should be your best bet for now!

..btw... sometimes I do some "side jobs", and I buy parts from ebay and stuff... and parts can be much cheaper than at the bodyshop where I work.
When I mentioned that parts "may" have some imperfection I mean like things that are shorter in a 1/4 inch, or stuff like that. But again, fender is fender, if bolts on and lets your door open without a problem... it's all good!
If you lived in south florida I would be able to help you more!
