EX or DX interior on black sedan?
I just painted my sedan black, and I've decided to stick with the stock blue interior. most of you hate the blue interior, but I dig it.
Anyway, I just got a EX interior yesterday from the junkyard for $60. It's blue as well, but in super good condition.
So my question is this: Do I stick with the stock LX interior, which is a sort of light blue/grey color, or switch to the ex interior which has light blue in the center and dark blue on the sides.
I was so ready to do the EX, but then my wife said she likes the LX interior better, and now I question which I like better. I'd hate to go through the hassle of swapping it out just to discover I hate it.
What say you?
I can upload pictures of EX seats if need be.
The option is for DX, but I really have an LX.

i thought the ex interior was black? anyway if there both blue with a small difference, id just leave what ya got in there.
if they are almost similar leave it the same. unless the dx interior is trashed and the ex interior is mint condition. all a matter of if you feel like doing it

Agreed
Agreed
here is my car with stock interior:

Notice that the seats are all one color.
and the EX looks like this:

Notice the two different colors on the seats. Also notice that the center of the seats has a different pattern, almost like a weave. If I decide on the EX interior, I'll probably try to go back to the junkyard one more time and get the door panels, as they match the seats.
So, now that you have pictures, which would look better?

i'd at least go with the seats, they look comfortable and in better shape. otherwise, i'd just stick with whatever one's in better shape.
paint looks good, but you should wetsand it more to get rid of that orangepeel, if you care. i should talk, my car is multiple colors right now, and it doesn't bother me at all.

I started wetsanding last night. It was raining so i thought, "hey, PERFECT time to wetsand!"
I wanted to wait a week for the paint to cure a little. If I'm lucky I'll finish wetsanding/polishing today, which means I can get all of my trim back on for next weekend when I actually need to drive the ****.

You still want a blue EX interior? The front seats look good, but the rear bench needs some cleaning. Don't know what they want for it tho. Found one at my local junkyard.

i would change it, but im silly like that.
think of it as customizing it and making more to your liking.
if later on you start to dislike it, swap it back
what else you going to do this winter? lol
you could always dye the interior you like the least just to experiment.
it seems i have to take everything i own apart at some point
guess i never really grew out of that
get us some pics with which ever you route you decide to take.
