89 Civic HB with a 99 Accord 3.0 V-6...who wants to do it?
I have a wrecked 99 Accord in my yard with the 3.0 V-tech V-6 in it. All the engine, transmission, and wiring harnesses and computer are all in good shape...I need someone that has experience in cutomizing motor swaps, so for all of you who take one look at the title and say "It won't fit"....I've heard a million times and yes it will....My uncle has one, same year as mine with a blown Chevy 350 in it, so I know if he can get that in, a lil ole V-6 wil fit. So, I am looking for someone in the Birmingham-Atlanta area that might be able to do this. I know you are probably thinking why don't I just get my uncle to do it, well the answer is he's dead, so I am stuck tryin to figure this thing out myself. I will have the money for the project in about 6 months, right now I just need to find someone to do the work. I have a budget of about $10,000. So, if there is anyone who is confident they can do the work, let me know!! Thanks...peace out
Sell tha accord stuff and get a better engine...one thats lighter and fits....sure with enough money you can put a chevy big block in it...but the question is why?
if somone were to do that theyd be much better with a 3.2TL type S motor for the same amount of work....and those kill it.

Word. I would put that 10k into the hatch. You'd see at least 11-12's with that kind of money.
Edit: Way faster that dickin around with that accord motor.
