Seibon Vs. VIS
Which one is better and what is the difference between these two? in carbon fiber hoods and parts that is. and doesn't seibon hoods stop the cf finish at the edge and vis continue the cf finish over the edge.

i've had both.
-both fit perfect.
-seibon is lighter
-vis is slightly more... brownish.
-seibon doesn not flex nearly as much as my vis did
-sibon's weave is not 100% perfect, but barely noticable
-vis's weave is slighly better than seibons

I don't have much experience with Seibon, but I've seen one of their carbon fiber civic trunks fit like total crap, which is weird considering all the good things I've heard about their company.
I've had a VIS hood though, no blemishes and fit perfectly

looks like seibon has some good remarks. what im saying is if u had a choice would u rather get a vis or seibon. i have a brand new seibon as a gift and was thinking of selling and getting a vis.
fiber images is the best CF hood ive ever seen. but i havent seen any of their products around lately. my brothers fiber images hood still looked new and fit PREFECTLY after 4 years of the south Florida sun and heat, after that it was sold for the same price he bought it for
I had a VIS carbon fiber hood and hatch on my old EG, fitment was nice, and finish was great
(bought both items used) , but from what I heard VIS jacked up their prices, and their customer service sucks, I was talking to a guy that has his own shop and he said he sold 3 VIS hoods and 2 out of the 3 got returned for bad fitment and bad finish and VIS is just slacking in resolving the problems. I just ordered a seibon c/f hood, should have it on by next week

i'm getting a seibon lip...i've seen good and bad VIS hoods and heard nothing but good about seibon....although you didn't mention it...i have a fiber images hood....fits ok..but not worth the heavy pricetag.
