Default koyo radiator???

looking into getting the koyo racing radiator on ebay for my 92 lude. but it looks like it a lot thicker that stock. i was just wondering if anyone has this radiator and did it take much space away? i just dont want any issues with my revhard turbo manifold and sc61 turbo. id like to keep a/c.

Put a Civic radiator in there if you want space.

I just had one put in yesterday. It fits but required some minor modification of the fan brackets and drain plug to clear the front member and engine mount. Use slimmer fans and you should have fewer issues.

dont mean to hijack.......

but if you were to buy a koyo half size, which model civic would you buy it for?

the only reason I ask, is b/c I understand that the hose diameters are different between prelude & civic correct?

I have a Koyo. Also have a SPAL 16" on the FRONT of it. Plenty of room on my turbo car (Max Rev manifold). Good purchase, the thing holds a ridiculous amount of coolant and never gets hot now

before you buy your koyo off ebay be sure and check every part of the auction because i bought mine and i missed some fine print where it said that the radiator was for preludes with the f22. my lude has the h23 and i found that the fan mounting points are different. the radiator still fit fine but i had to make custom fan mounts to make it work. but you may not have to worry about that cause if you're worried about clearance i would just go ahead and buy the slimmer fans cause with the radiator it gets pretty crammed. but i definatly love the new radiator. the car runs much cooler now

The hose diameters are different but you can put a slice of a Civic hose under the Prelude hose and it'll fit fine.
