Brake caliper markings?

Brake caliper markings?
Did anyone know anything about the marking on the front caliper on a 3rd generation teg? I have a 95 GSR and i can get my hands on both JDM 96 spec or 98 Spec calipers and discs. The calipers are marked either 17/14 or 17/15. What does that mean? I am guessing i have a 17/14 on my GSR right now. Do i need any mods to fit a larger disc? thanks
