Default rsx-s vs. other sport cars

Hello Guys!

I have some questions about the rsx-s and i hope that you can help me... Which cars can you compare to the rsx-s... i mean which cars are in his category of performance...

For example what is about the Nissan 350Z? Can a rsx-s keep up with this car?? or a s2000??

have you any experiences??

my car got killed in 4th gear against my cousins ap1. on the track or on the straight away, dc5's would get killed against ap1/2's. since 350z's compare to s2k's, i'd say we would lose as well. rwd > fwd.

I thinkt he only thing that is really inthe RSX-S range is the 3-series, like a 325ci oor 330ci

both are more expensive and the RSX-S and the 330Ci are close in performance

To me the RSX is a budget sports car. Alot like my Civic Si. Is it a step up from my Si? A little, but not enough to make a big stink over. They are both great bangs for the buck but in no way should they be considered true sports cars. The RSX is a great car in that it's value is awesome and it's fun to drive. But a 350Z would smoke it in reverse.

trust me a 330 Ci is alot faster than a RSX-S. My girlfriends bought a 2005 330 Ci Auto/Tiptronic, And i have driven a friends RSX. The 330Ci would STOMP it, at anything after 20mph. The BMW dealer had charts showing 227 whp on the 330Ci, where i believe the RSX-S is only around 170, yes it weighs a little less but not that much.

it's bhp. NOT WHP.

225 bhp in a 3300 pound car
201 in a 28xx pound car.

i'd take the rsx over the 3 series, unless it was a M3. dont forget that the 330 ci is also really expensive. you cant even compare a 330 to a TL because it's in a different price range. you can compare a 325 to a TL.

please remember that you can not compare a s2k to a nsx. they are in completely different groups. you also cant compare a FF to a FR. totally different. with 2 GREAT drivers, the s2k would win hands down. once again, RWD > FWD.

think about it. a 201 bhp car gets a loss of 20%, which gives it about 160 whp. how the hell can a RWD car that has a driveshaft only lose ~2% ? i would say about 170.

ACURA RSX-S ~ SUBARU IMPREZA WRX ~ NISSAN SENTRA SPEC-V ~ TOYOTA CELICA GTS ~ FORD FOCUS SVT ~ MAZDA RX8 ~ and the list goes on....

Most of those cars are within the price range of the RSX-S or even less but are in very close performance range . Now 350Z and the S2000 are different story....

In a lot of comparisons I have seen the line-up is: (no order) RSX Type-S, WRX, Sentra SE-R Spec V, Scion TC, Dodge SRT-4, sometimes a 350Z, RX-8, and I think that maybe a Colbot SS (spelling) might be in their too. Good luck.

Probably the new civic Si, Mitsubushi Eclipse, Hyundai Tiburon, Dodge Srt-4, Scion Tc, Sentra SE-R, or the Toyota Celica Gt-S

i have beaten 3 Z's from a 20 roll and 2 G35's from 45 punch so i dont know why people think type-s are slow. My car is stock besides intake and a S2000 beat me by almost a car from 5 till 105mph and he had intake header and full exhaust. so my type-s runs pretty hard for bein stock.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe when the RSX was first introduced, it's number 1 competitor was the Subaru WRX. Even though the WRX would kill the DC5. But whenever compared...those where the 2 cars that faced off.

Based on mag times I've seen of performance the Type-S and the 330 should be a pretty close race in a straight line.

Lol, I would love to see you beating up those 350z and even G35 or maybe even a S2000 as you mentioned.

I call BS. There's a member on Clubrsx putting down 202 at the wheel who still lost to his friends 350Z. I don't think an intake makes a 15.0 sec car into a 13 sec car. Sorry.

let me remove my seats and sparewheel and with intake, race header, img, exhaust, and a full tune and ill send the car into high 13's.

say what you want but i have many witnesses', wish i had a video camera to show you guys whats up, BTW i didnt stomp these guys by car lengths just by like a half car length and i didnt race till top end just till like from 20- 80 or so. say what you want but i was driving and i am pretty sure i would know how fast my car is. i have gotten my *** kicked by many cars but stock 350's and stock G35's are what i enjoy racing cause it is always close.
