Well I did my first rotors and pad swap on my teg. I had never done one and was quite suprised at the ease of it and I was quite happy with the results when I was finished. Installed some brembo blanks and OE pads. Nopi shipped in 3 days props to them. Anyways they seem to be working great I am taking it easy on them right now. I drove them to school today and everything was working good. Do you guys think I should bleed my brakes today. (dont know the last time they were bled).

 

NO you should bleed them on saturday that way it can recuperate over the weekend

 

It might not be a bad idea to bleed them. I would do it, better safe than sorry. Do a search and find the correct order to do them for you car.

 

ya thats what I am going to do but I am unsure of the fluid I need to put in the resivoir.

Why does it matter if I do it today or saturday? And by recouperating do you mean letting it sit and not driving it, because i will be driving it this weekend.

just regualr DOT 3/4 fliud will be fine. DO NOT GET DOT 5.0/5.1. There is no need for it in a daily drive and 5.0 will react with 3 and eat away at rubber seals

 

i did not bed the pads. I put some anti squeel component on the pads is that what you mean? If I did not do this is it going to be trouble?

 

Ya I just read that article and I did a couple 40-0 and 60-0 stops but didnt do it 10 times. Is it ok to do it tonight? I have been taking it really easy on my brakes right now. If I do the bedding in after having been using the breaks softly for just today will i be ok?
