Question, I have a 93 Integra LS. This morning it acted like it didnt want to go when I accelerated. It stuttered and did not wnat to go when i press the gas. After a while it was still doing it. I let off the gas to slow down and the engine sputtered and hesitated. I look in my rear window and there was a big cloud of smoke. The smoke was white. I pulled into the parking lot and turned it off. I went back in a few minutes and it started up fine and i reved with the throttle cable and it didnt sputter or anything..any solutions as to what this may have been??
ok my fiance drove it home. below is a pic i took with my phone b4 he left. there was no milky oil on the dipstick. however that came from around the top of the radiator...also it did it the whole way home except in 1st gear and it shut off twice.
nope no overheating at all..we are goign to do a compression test 1st thing in the morning..will take my laptop as soon as the test is done and post results
If your getting oil in the coolant... thats bad sign time for a head gasket, just amke sure and do it soon, otha wise you'll warp the head and it will be way more expensive.
yea this just started up today so for now the car is parked. tomorrow we are going to start off by doing a compression test then go from there and also do a tune up b/c its time for an oil change, plugs and wires as well
