Default Accleration

Question, I have a 93 Integra LS. This morning it acted like it didnt want to go when I accelerated. It stuttered and did not wnat to go when i press the gas. After a while it was still doing it. I let off the gas to slow down and the engine sputtered and hesitated. I look in my rear window and there was a big cloud of smoke. The smoke was white. I pulled into the parking lot and turned it off. I went back in a few minutes and it started up fine and i reved with the throttle cable and it didnt sputter or anything..any solutions as to what this may have been??

Did the engine overheat recently? Possibly a blown headgasket. A compression test will tell you if the headgasket is done.

If your getting oil in the coolant... thats bad sign time for a head gasket, just amke sure and do it soon, otha wise you'll warp the head and it will be way more expensive.

one other think i probably should have mentioned, its been raining some yesterday, poured all night and been raining pretty steady today. it didnt do it yesterday but then again it wasnt raining as hard either..

is it possible that it may have been sucking some water up? it has a cai not a short ram..but still theres that oil on the radiator hole not to mention it did smoke

That could be possible, but still do the compression test. That'll tell you for sure.

I had a simular problem.. i did the fuel filter, plugs wires, cap and rotor.. and same .. then i changed out the pcv valve (located on intake manifold) and it fixed it for me..

*edit*
Also check the ECU.. the gen two always has a leak in the passanger side floor. Ive also bucked an ecu before due to staying water
