just get them from Discount Tire Direct, they have a ton of locations in Chicago too, so you could get them serviced at those stores. and YES a 14" wheel will fit your SI. there ARE however a few sizes you can put on the SI to keep your 15" wheels...they are called "plus zero" fitments and there are several tires to fit that...check into it.

Just ordered a set of winter tires from tirerack, they were at my house in 2 days.

With the 14 inch you will get better snow driving capability but will sacrifice a bit of dry road handling. The Dunlop Winter Sport M3 is the best combination of dry road and snow/ice driving that we sell. It will be a good choice since you are driving long distances.
