Now i have the ls not turboed yet but which header should i get megan is 150 dc sports is like 300 and obx is about 100

HMT hands down.

For the same price as a Kit you can build a mean HMT kit,

The kit comes with an FMU, Ditch that.

Sry I cant help but its something to think about untill someone who is boosted helps,

And megan racing, Becuase if your going boost the extra 2HP is not worth the extra couple hundred $$

a custom turbo kit is the way to go , you will probably spend less money .
and for the headers why buy then if your going turbo, if your gointo get then anyway go with the cheapes megan or obx.

yeah right. man that option was for me too. i totalled up a pretty goood turbo kit customized and it was a lil over 3g. i got a stage 2 rev hard off ebay for 2600 with shipping and it gave me 122hp at 6psi with good uberdata tuning.

you got to learn how to shop around.
most of those kits dont bring evrything you need so you end up spending more money.

yah shop around look for deals.

My HMT setup is going to cost about $1,200. This will set me at around 225WHP which is all I need.

I'll be using a T3 from a saab 900-T.

I'm going with uberdata.

is a smog an issue? i am running a greddy turbo kit on my 01 gsr and its great and very reliable. also are u going to do internals, cause the other kits like revhard, drag and so forth our very very nice kits, but they push the motor alot more, but if u are going to do internals then that won't be a big concern

Reliable?

A stock-internaled turbo motor can be just as reliable as long as it was tuned properly and that all required maintenance is met [PERIOD-end of argument].

What ruins blocks, even those that claim to be bullet-proof is detonation.

To the thread creator. If you really don't know what you're doing, be prepared to spend some $$$.

BTW: I don't get why you want a NA header when it will be useless in a turbo application.

FAST, CHEAP or RELIABLE.

Pick TWO.

I say build your own kit, if u do it individually over time you will be able to get what you really want, rather than getting a pre-built kit that might have some parts that you dont like.....just my opinion though

Dont even bother getting a N/A header if your going to turbo, thats just a waste of money.

make sure you dont get the pretty ss autochrome manifold... it will look really pretty when you run over your cracked mani, turbo and waste gate on the freeway.
