still having problems with my sohc zc
hey guys, i swapped a sohc zc into my 89 hf, and im still having serious problems with the vacuum lines. since this doesn't have the egr valve, instead of blocking this valve off, my brother accidently blocked the map sensor line and plugged the egr valve line into the intake where the map went. well, we switched them back, and with the egr valve blocked, i have no throttle response. i know its not right, but the motor ran killer before we noticed the problem, but it would overheat and die at stops. we've tried running t'd into the lines to get it to run right, and almost every variation of the lines into different places, and i get different problems each time. sometimes it says the o2 sensor is bad, sometimes it overheats, but the wierd thing is that with it hooked up the right way and the egr line blocked, it has no throttle response at all, real doggy. i've been messing with this thing for a month now, and researched for hours. i cleaned the grounds at the thermo and everywhere else, thinking that might help, but nothing. i need some help, someone tell me what im doing wrong. thanks
