Default ZC turbo thoughts

I have a 88 CRX with a ZC swap. I'm planning a turbo system for it. Here's what Ive come up with so far. boost from 6-14 psi on stock internals?

Walbro 255 pump
RC 440 injectors (maybe 550)
Tial BOV and wastegate
Piping and intercooler, Manifold and downpipe.
Hondata ECU (S200?)
Pressure reg.

As far as a turbo I'd like to go with either a T3/T4 BB or a GT30R.

Basically I'm going to run this until it blows the switch to a B16A with rods and pistons. For those of you who have done, this I'd love to hear your thoughts/opinions/ideas.

Yeah.......its doubtfull you will run very long on stock internals at 14psi....even with good tuning... Stock D series rods aren't up to the task and neither are the cast pistons.

If you want to run that much boost do eagle rods and forged pistons.

I wholeheartedly recomend planoguy36 spends some time on the forced induction forum with the search feature....you will fine anything above 9 psi on sock guts is courting disaster.

</TD></TR></TABLE>fuel pump (good, im still using my stock pump) instead of the rc injectors.... get some dsm blue tops(440cc) they go for $60 tops(set) as far as hondata...dont waste your $$ since your using an integra ecu, use turbo edit(obd-0) it's free software so you just have to get your ecu chipped.

im about to turbo my 2nd car, but my current turbo set up is: dohc zc(in a '91 civic) hf manifold, t-25 turbo, dsm 440 injectors,pr4 ecu with turbo edit, and an eclipse bov and jrc front mount intercooler

if its a dohc zc then its a ok motor to turbo. it can hold around 10lbs of boost no problem. i have know a couple people to do that for a really long time and never had a problem.

he used the old greddy kit with a 15g turbo off a stealth r/t with some dsm 450 and a afc with a dsm sidemount and it pulls pretty hard and it was really simple to do

the headgasket will go before the rods or pistons.
on a d series anyways. put a better headgasket and some arp head studs and you can push 13 with stock internals.

im speaking from experiance

Rockn.. My roomate mentioned something about that..a copper gasket? Have any leads on a "better gasket"? sounds easier then replacing the rods but it is kinda a throw-a-away motor. BUT If i can build it to stand more psi, I'd much rather do that then the hassle of replacing it with a B16. KEEP'm coming, i'm all ears!

Ok after spending the afternoon reading about PR, BSFC, A/R, Lbs/min, compression maps, tirm, exducer, inducer, etc, I've almost come to a conlcusion that at 10psi my best turbo should be a T04E50. Right in the fat part of that "effiecny island" Any confirmations or differing opinions? see I am getting smarter. Thanks for your conintueing tolerence
