Default MTF in wrong hole?

I put MTF in the top tranny pipe thing with the black cap on it. Is that ok? I got about 2.5Q in.

2.5 is a little too much. Should have been 2.1-2.2 qts

that hole is meant for a breather for the transmission, but if u can squeeze in the fluid through there, it will be fine. HOw did you know when to stop? usually, the way to add fluid is to have the car level on the ground, take out the 17mm bolt and add fluid through there till it spills out of the same hole.

its 2-2.3 , depending on how much is drained, a full fill is like 3(on a completely empty trans)
