First HPDE car prep
I am going to the WTDR Exblow in November and am starting to get things together for the car. I wanted to double check my list of things with you guys to make sure I'm not forgetting anything. If anyone else could give me some insight as to what to expect, that'd be cool too. My caR only has 10,000 mile on it, do you guys think I should replace the rotors? They're pretty much unabused, only one autox on them. I know for sure I am getting some new pads - probably Cobalt GT or Axiss Ultimates, along with some Motul 5.1 brake fluid. That seems to be a pretty good combination. Also, I'm probably going to order Bell Sport 3 helmet SA2005. I need a helmet for local autox stuff and this seems to be a pretty solid investment for the price. As far as tires go, I'm going to get the new Hankook RS-2 in 205/50 and mount them on the stock rims.
What am I missing?

Motul 5.1 or RBF600? You probably want RBF600, but as long as it's clean and fresh, you should be OK with anything on a mostly-stock ITR. The brakes themselves are very good, but the OEM pads are (in MY opinion) trash and not track worthy for a novice.
GT sports are good if you want to use the same pads on the track. At some point, you'll probably get good enough that you can change rotors and pads in 15-20 minutes, so you may end up someday with dedicated track rotors (Autozone cheap ones preferred) and race pads (Cobalt Spec VR, Carbotech XP8/9/10, etc.)
Helmet is a good investment, if you can get the SA2005 by the WTD expo. I've seen them be late in the past with the Snell specs, so you may have to settle for 2000 or borrow one.
hmm..
There will be other ITR's, so you may have luck in finding the common things that break in case you need repairs.
Distributor, axles, brake rotors, etc...
Good luck, have fun.
I used the Hankook RS2 Z212 on the street for a while, definitely capable tires. GK used them on the track once, Shennandoah, they're capable track tires but maybe not as good as the Azenis.

Bring oil to the track, it's very likely you'll lose some. You want to keep it full to avoid starvation in the corners.
Anyhow-- there's a link to a few articles worth reading here:

Aqua, what run-group were you in? If it was Novice or even Intermediate, don't base the student's behavior on the vehicle's capabilities.
R-brakes are indeed pretty darn kickass.
