i just traded my ej8 for a s2k and i dont no much about them. are they all called ap2's? and are all s2k's the same, or are there different types like the civic si, or type r (etc.) sorry to seem dumb this is new to me.

 

depends on what year the car is. if it's 00-03 it's a ap1, if it's later its a ap2 and the only other model of the s2 i know of is the type-v...

no such thing as a shitty s2k. period.

 

define what you mean by "shitty" i know the ap2 has a smaller digi tach and is basically more of a daily driver car but it's still an s2 nonetheless. it you want something shitty look at the 06 s2 having drive-by-wire

well you won't have to look at the cut off tach and even tho you won't have the additional torque you'd get form the F22C....yeah you made the right choice

 

Better choice? lol...what the hell...i dont think i'll ever understand people's logic surrounding the better S2000. They're both the same, the differences are so damn small its rediculous and they perform nearly identical. The AP1 and the AP2 are like the olson twins...slight differences, but twins.
