Integra RS
Below the base model? I think it was the lightest had no power windows or locks and had the same motor as the ls and gs.

Trim Levels
RS: Regular Series. Available in both coupe and sedan. No sedan available in 1998. Model dropped in 1999. Equipped with the B18B1 DOHC engine putting out 142 HP and 127 ft-lbs. of torque. In 1997, power ratings dropped to 140HP and 124 ft-lbs. of torque. As always, the stripped down model. Standard features were a cassette player, rear window defroster, and tilt steering wheel. Cassette player replaced with CD player in 1997.
LS: Luxury Series. Available in both coupe and sedan. From the RS, the LS adds air conditioning, power windows and door locks, cruise control, and a moonroof. In 1998, the LS became equipped with alloy wheels and in 2000 was given a leather wrapped steering wheel and shift ****. The LS is most popular non-VTEC model Integra and arguably best value.
SE: Special Edition. Available in both coupe and sedan starting from 1995. SE's are only found in 1995 and 1996 model years until they were changed to be named the GS in 1997. From the LS, it added leather seats, alloy wheels on all years, and a rear wing spoiler.
GS: Grand Series. Available in both coupe and sedan starting from 1997. Same standard features as the SE.
GS-R: Grand Series Racing. Available in both coupe and sedan. Equipped with the B18C1 DOHC VTEC engine outputting 170HP and 128 ft-lbs. of torque. Same standard features as the GS minus the leather seats. However, leather seats ended up becoming a standard feature on the GS-R starting in 1999. Again, no auto transmission available for this car.
Type R: Type Racing. Available in coupe only starting from 1997. Not available in the U.S. in 1999. Equipped with fully tuned B18C5 DOHC VTEC engine outputting 195HP and 130 ft-lbs. of torque. Check the Type R Special for the technical differences on this car. Standard features were exclusive of the rest of the models and in 1997, included black mesh/suede bolstered seats with red stitching, mid-height rear wing, front lip spoiler, body colored side rocker panels, shaved door moldings, leather wrapped steering wheel and shift ****, power windows and door locks, and exclusive white powder-coated light-weight alloy wheels with 5-lug configuration. In 2000, added standard features were an aluminum shift ****, gunmetal lightweight alloy wheels, and air conditioning. As with the GS-R, no automatic transmission was available for the Type R. But if you were thinking about getting this car with an automatic transmission you shouldn't be thinking about this car at all.

RS's were the base model Integra. They have the same engine as the LS but are a little bit lighter, so it should be faster than the LS, but not by much. The major difference was no ABS and sunroof and wheel covers over stamped steel wheels instead of 'alloy' wheels. They ended that trim level with the 98 spec integras.
Low miles but it's an RS... 2500 tops, if it's stock and minty looking. You can actually get a GSR for not much more, but it sure as hell will have more than 100k on it.
Just to clear up the damn misconceptions everyone seems to have:
RS doesn't have:
* - ABS
* - Cruise Control
* - Spoiler
* - Alloys
* - Sunroof
* - Power Door Locks
* - Clothe over the speaker grills
RS does have:
* - Power Windows
* - Power Steering
* - Everything else an LS has
Also; When all these Cali guys say you can get a GSR for a little bit more, they don't seem to realize that that is only in Cali. On the East coast, for certain, GSRs are alot more money than LS/RS/GS tegs.

lol....that's the HT lowball auto auction price.
The only way you will get a 3rd gen teg for that little is if it has a ton of miles, has been slavaged, it's beat to hell as in rust, or you get lucky.
The RS is actually more valuble than the LS or GS to people who want to race it.
I say if you find one in good condition/clean title with no rust for $3000 to $3500, that's a good thing

Yah, good luck finding it for $2500 in good drivable condition. I got mine for around $4K with a tad over 70,000 miles with no maintainance issues.
It seems that all the track ****** or ex-R owners are looking to scoop them up.

But mine is clean as hell bone stock with a metalic flake black paint job that just got painted 2 years ago it has 220k miles on it but i plan on doing ls turbo swapped motor but u can find cheap good integras search on craigslist.com thats were i found mine
I have an RS it has PW no PL, came with an OEM Spoiler, i think it was an optional feature, because it got the 3rd break light inside the rear winshield, and it have this black on black interior that is different, it does have any design on it.

I know a friend who has a 91 rs, and it does have Cruise control.
I have a 91 ls, and what i have that his car does not, is sun roof, button display for my air controls , instead of the sliding switch, and a rear window wiper.

Ok, I forgot to stipulate that the good cheap GSR's are out there, but mostly in SoCal. I guess I have something of an inside track since I still have a dealership hook up, but come on, 94-95's are getting to be 10, 11 years old. I wouldn't pay more than $4000 for one.

Prior to 98 and the 98 RS's had different options.
My 98 when I bought it new had:
*power windows
*power steering
*AC
*14" steelies with hubcaps
didn't have:
*spoiler
*power locks
*moon roof
*cruise
The only options that I wished it had was the power locks and cruise.

the same can be said for the 94-97 RS.
the difference came in the changeover from the 94-97 bumper styles to the 98 & up bumpers.
btw, 1998 was the last year the integra was offered in the RS trimline.
not so.
