Default Got my helmet

Thanks to INDYSUPERBIKES my helmet came today.

God does this thing fit good. I went from and ICON mainframe to a Suomy Spec-1R. The fit is great and i can hardly tell I have a helmet on anymore. Turning my head side to side now is the biggest difference. The inside is so soft and smooth. I am use to having to push my visor down hard and this just glides down.

Only bad side i could see is the noise factor. I was only doing a little riding tonight and I can tell it is alot louder. The Jardine pipe is overpowering now.

I still give the helmet

Now some pics

Great looking lid.

Like everyone else said, earplugs are a must with any good helmet.

My Shoei TZ-R + Yosh RS-3 = ringing ears if I dont use the earplugs.

I think someone here put it as "all well-vented helmets will be loud", or something along those lines.

Hell I've got a Shoei RF-1000 with a stock pipe and my ears ring without plugs.

What are some good ear plugs? Are those cheap foam ones any good.
Something to deaden the sound, but now to much.

At Target they sell these disposable 100% silicon plugs that work really well. Out of all the types I've tried I would recommend these.

I have a whole tub of foam 32db ones. Go to CVS and try out a bunch of different ones and see what you like best.

At first it will be very awkward to have them in and you might even have a bit of trouble with feeling "lost" and unaware of your surroundings. After the first few riders with them you will never go back to not wearing them.

You can hear the bike much better and you instantly find yourself going much faster.

It was a decent amout. $499.95. It came with a sheild and free shipping.
It is worth the price though. I would buy another today if i could.

Are you talking about Mack's ear plugs, they are great.

They are very soft and work well in a helmet.
