Default cross members for a reasonable price?

Does anyone know of a place where I can get an aftermarket cross member for a reasonable price. I just checked out z10's and they want like $550 for one and I don't want the Place Racing one, anyone else know of one? Thanks.

http://www.mmrusa.com, They have one by MB products. I spoke with importreview about the company and he said they were good. It is $350 and it weights 9lbs.

Looks like there's no provision for a front motor mount on the MB crossmember. If you're using an HASport kit, no need to worry, although the HCP kit does have that front mount...

I believe Z10 provides the option to use a front mount if you specify it.

Yeah, but Z10 sells the x-member for $550. Call me cheap but that's way too much $$ for a few bars that were welded together.

Don't get a place racing what ever you do. They suck. For one it didn't bolt up very easly. Had to really stuggle to get the holes lines up. Next it messes up the front end because the radius bars don't have a solid suport anymore. My wheel hop is worst then ever. Next the dam thing broke! We welded it back up and put in some strengthing suports. Of course the dumb ***** at place racing told me I had to wait a month because they are on back order! your better off hacking your stock on to bits then trying a place racing crossmember. Now I am looking to get a Z10 crossmember soon because I am sick of the way my car handles. The front end feels realy sloppy. I had my car alingned and they couldn't even get it in spec. So save alot of headachs and just get a z10 or mabee the other one (mmr?) trust me!

Have you ever heard of a CNC machine and what they cost?

Yeah, but that's not my problem, that's their's. I mean, are you willing to spend $550 on a cross member, honestly?
