Default NEW JERSEY: can't find scrap metal to practice welding

I'm looking for some 1/4" steel to practice on. I called a few scrap yards and they all said they didn't have any.

any locals know where I can get some?

yeah sears hardware not sure if the normal sears has metal either. They have different size sheets not sure how expensive it is compared to other places but it is like 5 mins from my house so easy to go there get metal and weld on it.
