Since Hurricane Katrina killed UNO, im off until the spring semester so I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to buy another lude(after i sell mine of course).

Anyways here's the scoop: '98 with 3,XXX miles on the engine(rebuilt b/c of a misshift into 3rd) w/95,XXX on the chassis. It's a 5spd,the paint is a lil faded(red),big scratch on WWRS front lip, crack across the bottom of the windshield,and side mirror is duct taped on cuz the dude hit an owl one night.

I got him down to $6,500.
What I'd like to know is:what is your opinion on this car,my friend drove it and it drove fine except that it needs an alignment. would u invest in it? I've had nothing but trouble w/ my 97(its an auto)in the past so I really dont want to go thru that again.

 

Have the guy do the alignment before you buy it - even if you have to reimburse him on the price. That way you'll know for sure whether it's just out of line or some other suspension issues.

like he said you never know he could have hit something and done some damage that can't be fixed with an alignment.
