hey guys, i just had my b&m short shifter installed and for some reason when i shift from first to second it makes a sweaking noise and when im in 1st 3rd or 5th gear i kinda hear a grinding noise but only when im in those gears. it never did that before when i had my stock shifter. does anyone know whats going on?? thanks

 

It might be rattling against your exhaust, since the new shifter hangs lower.

 

you probly need a new/better clutch now.. i installed my short shifter a few weeks ago.. and it didnt hang low enuf to hit my exhuast.. but i broke it at the races slaming it into second.. i miss my short shifter
