Default Crazy torque steer!

Ok, i have a 89 hatch with dual zc and dx transmission. I have some crazy torque steer though. Besides an alignment which i know will help out a lot on its own. If i put the zc tranny in the car which would require me to use the integra equal length axles, would that put an end to most of my torque steer problems?

you think its bad with a DX....that motor runs like **** with a DX trans...slap a Si box in there and you are going to see what real torque steer is.

THe ZC box will eliminate almost all of that....trust me..I ran all three transmissions behinf a DOHC ZC.

90-93 non-abs 5 speed axels

make sure you get the ZC intermediate shaft with the transmission.

Normally I would not comment on a thread I do not know anything about, but this No2Pencil dude seems to have issues with the ZC??? Thanks for the picture, jackass, and I will keep my eyes open for more of your retarded and unnecessary posts.

I bet he's upset with the fact the DOHC ZC gets 10mpg more than a properly running B16 will get....on cheaper gas at that...

THe biggest reason I wish I have kept my ZC at this point...

it will help a bit.

Things like an LSD or for less money a nice Traction bar will do wonders.

get that alignment first before considering any extra hardware.

first time I dumped the clutch on my DOHC ZC with one hand on the wheels I dislocated my thumb..when the wheel spun out of my grip......that was the last time I did that again before I put the ZC box in due to the two Si boxes I tried being way too noisey to suit me.

wow thats crazy... i'm not runnign a zc, but my b16a with s1 tranny only gets moderate torque steer when accelerating either on a bumpy downhill, uphill or dumping the clutch lol... but I suppose thats normal.

i think that its due to the fact that the axles are of different length. im not sure about the b16 swap as i have never done one or seen one in a car personally.

is uses the 90-93 integra axles (btw the only difference between non-abs and abs ones are the ring around the outercv joint for the abs sensor, works fine without abs... ) and either 90-91 half shaft or the one that comes with the motor from japan so they are equal lenght, and without an lsd, the driver side tire is the one to do the one-tire fire for some reason, even though its further away from the tranny, as logic would guess... go figure
