You could always try it and let us know.

Realistically I think you could get away with some motorcycle batteries, but you really have to start paying attention to amperage.

Seems pointless. Futhermore, with such a small battery I will assume that the alternator will over charge, thus leading to a nice boom and battery juice all over your motor.

Yeah they have this Optima battery thats REAL small, only downfall is its price. Its over 100$, and maybe I'm stupid, but I can't justify over a hundred dollars for a 12 volt battery without maybe a 10 year warranty.

P.S. They compared it in some vehicle, in which the stock battery was 30lbs, this did the same CCA and weighed less than 11lbs.

In my first post, if you couldn't tell, anything that was written after "futhermore" was what I like to call sarcasm. I know I should have added this "/sarcasm" at the end, but I was lazy.

nrg and buddy club make factory performing (or even higher performing for that matter) batteries that are incredibly smaller than factory honda piece. they are bad *** and perfect for weight savings or space saving when moving to the trunk..

http://www.helltoeauto.com sells the nrg one

go to their site and look at the comparison photo. crazy!

you actually could use a lawnmower battery, but the terminals are different

you can use pretty much anything, just make sure the cold cranking amps are at least 300 or so
oh and try not to leave any lights on, obviously the battery will die out alot faster than a normal sized one

i really dont remember how much was the optimal number, but 200 seems a little low to me.
i was told this from my auto shop teacher eh...about 2-3 years ago, so my memory is al ittle foggy

maybe it was something like 220

It starts to really depend on where you live. If gets really really cold out you want a bigger battery. I've had to jump start my car in -40 weather, it's not as fun as it seems.
