Default Stupid noobs!!!

I Just totaled my S14(240sx) and im thnking strongly about getting a teg b/c parts are cheap and the ride/gas milage is awesom!!! but im having some questions. If i get a teg it will prolly be a 94 or 95(5speed) and i want it to look like the car below. What type of bumper/lip is that? What type of skirts are those? what type of springs will get me that kind of drop? Where is the cheapest place to get a JDM front end conversion? Thanks for helping "the new guy"

**Dream teg**

That body kit is all OEM (and that teg would look ALOT better with the rear skirts, look odd without them).

Good coilovers are your best bet for getting the exact ride height you want.

hey noooooob, what's up. Since you're new to the forums, use the search button or else you'll get own'd. Since you're going to get a 94 or 95, you will need to convert the front end to a 1998 or higher year (that's the front end in the picture). To convert the front end of a 94/95 to a 98+, you will need the following:

98+ headlights
98+ bumper cover
98+ corner/signal lights
98+ corner/signal light brackets

To look exactly like the car pictured, you will need a OEM type-r lip. They sell replicas all over the net if you're not down with getting raped by the stealerships. Or you can try to find one in the Honda-Tech classifieds.

The sideskirts on the car are the OEM optional sideskirts. Good luck finding a pair of these since they are discontinued from the stealership. There are replicas but only in fiberglass.

You can't see the rear bumper in the picture but that's a 98+ bumper and so aren't the mirrors.

if you get a 98+ year then you don't have to worrie about much...depending on what add on you get, i'd say if you shop around you can find add ons for front side and rear four around 400 bucks.

And you cant forget about the 98+ rear bumper, which differed slightly as well. To answer your JDM front question though, it can run you around 2.5k with HID or around 2k w/o HID

Wow dude, you have got a long way to go. Well Sir, that kit is just an add on kit. AKA Lip Kit. And the dude ^ was right about the need for rear skirts cuz it does look funky w/out them. Look man, you are an ex-nismo guy supposedly right? So take some time, read pleanty of **** about tegs as much as possible; for ex: magazines, this site, talk to people, etc etc. You just dont jump into another vehicle and start doing **** w/out thinking and research okay? cuz that would be a true noob thing to do which is bad A lip kit for tegs are common especially for 94+ aka DC chassis. Personally I have a DA and you will find out that it is all about your preference not anyones elses dude

If you're going after that exact look.....you'd be better off getting a 98 and up integra. You won't have to replace anything ( except the rims ) and you'll have a better chance of it being with lesser mileage on it. But it may cost more though. In the end...factoring all the time spent looking for parts, installing it myself or having someone do it and then paint it.....it'd make more sense to just buy a 98 + Integra.

DC2 is actually the chassie code for GSRs years ranging from 94-01 and Type Rs from 97-01. if the car from the USA, they would have round head lights like the picture you posted. but JDM has long straight headlights just like the 90-93 acura integras. sorry, too lazy to post a pic.

if you dont have much money and would like the car to still look decent, go for the 98+ conversion with a lip of your choice. i have seen everything you need in my area go for a bout 700 bucks. but if you do have money to spend, like 1500-2500 depending on what kind of lights you want, then go for the JDM. looks a lot better and i cant wait to get mine on my car

check out this car! its beat up as hell, but the lip, skirts, drop, and rims look clean. Anymore info on that lip. Also i don't have alot of cheeze to spend. id rather spenk 1k+ for a turbo than a jdm/98+ front end.

nissan guy really needs to read more. His complete lack on integra knowledge is annoying.

You didnt even know the body changed between the 94-97 tegs to 98-01. Shoot, Im not a nissan fan but I know what 240's are from what year.

There is no LIP or SKIRTS on that beatup POS. That car would need a good deal of money to get it looking real good again. Not to mention if you looks at the background it appears to be an import salvage lot which I would guess that car has a salvage title.

FYI: Just a suggestion...look around and read for a while and you'll get the hang of the Integra and all its glory. There are so many good threads about the basics of these cars in the Archives and Thread Stickies at the Top of this Forum

I would never lie...unless its a female. The sides are factory and probably just pained because usually white integras have the sides black plastic from the factory. The front bumper usually has a little black plastic at the bottom so this car has probably been repainted at one time or another. And there is no lip on that bumper once so ever.
