Default holy n00b question! Si CD player into EG

Kid locally has a CD player out of his Si, his OEM one. Id like to put this into my EG.

Will this wire up normally? I had an aftermarket deck in there but it broke so i do have the harness' needed. Just wondered if they wire weird.

When I had one, I vaguely remember wiring it up to a newer, 99 Civic harness, and then it was plug/play. I picked up the harness from a local stereo shop, because it wouldn't just plug right in like the 92-95 stereo.

Cool, I have the aftermarket one that goes from the EG harness to the deck harness. So should work. Thanks Rodrez.

the si cd player needs the 98 up honda plug to fit it you can pick one up at any best buy metra 71-1721 should be the right number its a reverse harness. it will wire to the metra 70-1720 style harness you already have.

96-98 and 99-00 plugs are different. you will need to connect an eg aftermarket harness to an si pigtail. heres a part number for you.
