Does the 96 Accord LX 4-Cyl (non-Vtech) have the F22B2 engine in it?
I am trying to determine what the engine I have in my 96 Accord LX is? It's the 4-cyl, (non-Vtech) manual trans. I am wanting to buy a set of NGK wires off Ebay and I found some at an unbeatable price but all he says is that it's for the 94-97 Accord with the F22B2 engine.
Are these the engines usually equipped with these model cars?

F22A1 is a non-Vtec, Single Overhead Cam 2.2 litre 4 cylinder.
Available in all DX, LX and SE (glorified LX) Accords for 1996
F22B1 is the Vtec SOHC 2.2 litre 4 cylinder
Available in the EX in 1996.
F22B2 is a non-Vtec, SOHC 2.2 Litre 4 cylinder.
Available in the Prelude S for 1996.
For 1997, things got rearranged a little

it did not come in the prelude now you are getting them mixed up yes the H series and F sries are indeed simalar but 1 key difference the H series is a DOHC

A google search might stir up a whole 'bunch' 'o salvage yards which could supply you. I point this route b'cuz I haven't seen any listed in the normal JDM vendors.
Woodfins might be a place to look.
