change the dist and ull be set if its the igniter thats easy to but i think its another part inside i forget witch it is last time we did a zc swap we had the same problem ran great for a week than the thing did the same thing cut off at 4 grand changed the dizzy and problem solved
Replace a bunch of parts until it's fixed- just like everyone else said
Seriously- which fuel injection are you running on this thing? How was the wiring done (if it was). Which ECU- we need more info. If you have a distributor laying around go ahead and swap it in to see if it helps. Auot or 5spd?

Same thing with my car, one u hit around 3500 it jumps and doesnt accelerate, it was the distributor cables that were not making any contact, they charged me $15 and Im extremely happy how it runs now. Good luck

Forgot before i fixed the problem I got a new coil, cap and rotor, plugs, cables and didnt make a difference. Not saying to not replace the parts, but honestly take it to a mechanic because once u decide taking it youll waste serious money replacing all these parts. It shouldnt be anything too serious

sorry man, I had some mechanic do the job for me. The only thing I could do to a car is a tune up. Sorry about that

rev limit hesitation at around 3-4k rpm, with normal startup and idle is ....
look up..!!
dont spend money on a distributor u dont need.!!! just replace the ignitor
and off u go!!
