Removing Stupid sticker line off your car!??!?!?!?!
does anyone know a easy way to get that stupid ugly sticker line that runs down your car without damaging the paint? and also remove sticky glue thats been there for years? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!
I TRIED using a steamer and that didnt help...i don't have a heat gun is there any kind of chemical or and kind of tool that i can use?...thanks
when i removed the stripe off my car, i used really hot water...used a towel with the hot water and ran it on the stripe a few times...then i just peeled it with the tip of my fingernail...if that doesnt work, try a blow dryer
as for removing the glue residue, i used 3m citrus adhesive remover...not sure where to get it since i found it lying inmy garage, but it's in a can and you jsut spray it on and wipe until its gone

When I did mine a few years ago, I used a blow dryer to heat it up a little bit and then just peeled at it with my fingernails. Then I used Goo Gone for the sticky residue afterwards. It took a little while and left my fingertips numb, but it worked.
easy---- Heat Gun and plastic razor blade--- yes plastic razor blade can buy anywhere or sometimes comes in packs of normal razor blades---- or eraser wheel on drill or dremel tool but move fast can burn paint quickly.
i worked two summers in a row takeing big ryder stickers off their moving trucks and what i found best to use is pretty much like everyone said was a blow dryer or heat gun, or if you can find something that heats up hotter, you may get away with just using that becasue the glue doesnt always stick to the car if heated enough.

when i had a ugly sticker on the front on my winshield i used a razor( very very carfully and dont try it with your paint) and then used wd40 to get the glue off. Amazingly it worked like a champ.
