Why not get an OBDI with whatever EM you choose then switch back to your OBDII before emissions?

to go obd1 all you need is a obd1 ecu and conversion harness, its not that hard to just wap out when you need...

Its alot more work replacing motors...ive never had an obd2 car ive modded..but all my friends just put stock obd2 ecu, stock injectors, etc in and pass...takes maybe an hour to do...not alot of work every 1 or 2 years

Greddy e-manage much cheaper then Ultimate..used ones around too, with optional ignition and injector harness give you pretty good flexibility.

Yeah, obd2 injectors and dizzy are basically the same, so those dont need to be changed, just a obd1 ecu and obd2 to obd1 conversion harness.

yea, your correct but when you switch from obd-2 to obd-1 by using an obd-1 ecu + harness, it just reads from 1 of the 2 o2 sensors (now, someone else correct me if im wrong).

can the s300 be ran with a obd-1. my options are to go from my 00 LS obd2b and get the obd-1 ecu(p28,30,72,61) and conversion harness. my question is what ecu to get, if it matters and if the s300 will work with those ecu's?? thanks!

i went w/ a p28 just becuase its cheap, reliable, and obd-1. obd1 ecu is obd1 ecu, im sure it would work regardless

maybe you should reconsider getting the s300 until the problems are fixed.
