these times need to be at a sanctioned event not just any weekend warrior who claims the times. i ran 11.64@116 at 2000 LBS @cmi.and i know theres way faster street cars that run events.

Weekend warrior... LOL True.. People will do anything they can just to get respect these days... and say that they ran a certain time, with a half tank of arco 87 octane, with a stock stroke (as if anyone cares), on cut out doors, or stock doors, In a 86 civic wagon 4wd with a turbo zc and 400,000 miles on it, on a thursday, at 9:30pm, and 75 degree weather, on borrowed slicks, UNtuned, with pep boys seat covers, and rota slipstreams on the rears but with 55 series bald kuhmo tires, a stripper pole mounted on the roof, and 3 drunk hookers hanging out of the car....

It doesnt matter how you did it. Its about the ET and MPH at a sanctioned event. Backed up! Thats all that matters. People dont want to hear anyones life storys about it who, what, when or why..

While I agree with all of this to an extent, why exclude the people that may never get to race at an event? Isn't enough that a kid spends his hard earned money for the better part of a year, or more, and finally takes it to the track and runs a time he's proud of? This thread is just to show what your proud of with others who have the same interest.

I consider myself lucky, because I can afford to build a fast car AND race it at events. But I never consider what I do more important than what the WEEKEND WARRIOR does, because in the end we all do it for the same reason.
