Default 10lbs wheels too light for DD

Hey Guys what do you think about 10 lbs wheels for a daily driver?? This seems really light to me. My car is not a show car, nor a full race car. Biut at the same time i dont want super heavy wheels. Will a 10lbs wheel hold up to the daily up and down driveways, pot holes...etc??

I have had 2 sets of 17's with 40 seires tires on two diffferent teg, and have never dented one, and i had a set of 17's on a slammed s-10 i use to have, also never dented them. So i am usually pretty good about avoiding big holes and other such, but as we all know you cant avoid all pot holes.

I just wonder if i should avoid anything around 10lbs?

if a wheel is contructed right the weight doesn't have a thing to do with daily drivability.

you could have a 20lb wheel that withstands the rigors of DD'ing worse than an 8lb wheel.
