Relocate the battery to the back as well.
Remove your heat and ac crap and PS
Get an integra or quaife steering rack
Get traction bars (full race)

I assume this will be your weekend/show car right?

thanks for the response litterbox, cant get over how helpful u are.

yeah this will be my weekend/show car.. it is gonna be my expensive hobbie for the next couple of years. It will be more of a weekend driver than anything else but i will occasionally track it and take it on honda cruises etc.

i will most likely get a traction bar later on, i was told that it isnt that important for my purpose (ill prob get one by the time i track it)

im really considering removing the P/S & A/C. I would like the P/S, but as its no longer gonna be my DD..

i might do a bit of research on the steering rack, any info on it would be helpful.. is it a neccessity with the k-swap?

ill look into the battery relocation as well

btw litterbox, i got my dash :D cant wait to install it.. as soon as i get my hatch, thats what im doing.

EDIT: sorry didnt notice the other things u mentioned..
lol @ spoon socks, i already have a pair.. bit of bling for my engine bay

* Vision Carbon Fiber Valve Cover Insert Where would one find this? <-- i can get one for $195AUD delivered from a local dealer.

those samco lines are hot

Well you've got a few options when it comes to removing PS or swapping racks.

There was a writeup that showed you how to remove PS in the latest issue of super street (i believe the one with the baby blue EK on the cover). You could do that to your stock EG rack which seems pointless to me as far as any benefit besides weight reduction. BUT, you could do that to an integra rack and now you'll have 3.0 turns lock to lock instead of your 4.0 LTL.

OR

You could go here: http://www.quaifeamerica.com/ and pickup a quaife steering rack and follow this thread for installation. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1317231 It's a litlte more involved, but isn't that hard.

With the quaife rack you get 3.25 LTL. It seems that the logical route would be to get the teg rack nd swap that in cause it's easier and cheaper. In hindsight, I shouldve waited and just done that. But turst me, with the quaife rack, after an aligntment, OMFG it's a go-kart. A touch of the steering wheel turns the car. Steering is so tight, it's awesome. I can't parallel park for my life now though. But whatever.

Remember to post pics of the dash once you get it going. If you need help just pm me.

ok, u have convinced me to remove ac and ps..
now ill need to add the A/C and P/S removal kit and quaife steering rack to the list and remove the ac and ps lines

would this car with the quaife rack feel similar to a car with PS? or is turning still quiet heavy?

What would i need to relocate the battery?
Could i do it with my OEM EG battery and tray?

It is ok if i ask tech questions such as this yeah? i dont wanna be breaking the rules.. and im a bit confused atm lol

You don't need that ac/ps removal kit. I think the point of that is so that you can run your oem belt size. What I did on mine was use the EP3 (civic SI hatch) idler pulley and just ran a differnet belt. You don't need that kit at all.

AC is your personal choice. I didn't really care about it, so I didn't add it.

Turning at low speeds with the quaife rack is a little heavier than when i had my stock rack with no PS. It's completely bearable, trust me. Turning at high speeds is again heavier than before but that's what you want. It's very precise.

You'll need a battery box to relocate your battery. I know some companies make them, I just don't know the names.

the EP3 Pulley and bracket ive seen for just $100 so it sounds like the better option. But what belt would i use with this?

Then go to a parts store and try and find that size.

I'm sure there are companies that make custom belts as well.

My belt is either a 51.5'' or 52'' I can't remember. I have it written down at home. I bought it off boosted.hybrid on k20a.org and I remember him saying that he found it off some truck from the 80's.

Be sure you sand the hell out of the textured interior parts until they are smooth before you put some paint to them. Voice of experience.

Good luck and hope the project goes well. Should be a force to be reckoned with with that K under the hood. Super Street just bumped whp to 230 on a rsx-s with toda parts. That may be something to look into. Definitely would fly in an eg hatch.

As far as looks go, keep it sleeper, let some kid with sticker hp roll up on you, and watch his headlights shrink in your rearview. My 2 cents.

Oh they are very nice wheels. Don't give up searching for them, it took me almost a year and a half to find my seat, but it was definately worth it.

you arent going to be able to use the stock eg door panels unless you cut them because the integ dash is wider than the eg's. go with integ door panels if u get the dash.

the integra door panels wont fit on the EG.. im thinking of using the trick where u heat the back of the EG door and slam it shut to make a new mould.

Ill probably get a cheap EG door from the wreckers to have a practice shot on first.. lol

so for the k fuel setup u need.. fuel lines/fuel rail/FPR/Fuel pump am i correct?

For your setup you do this:

Tank ->Walbro pump -> Stock Sender Line -> Fuel Filter -> SS Line to Passenger Side of Fuel rail -> Fuel rail -> Inlet on FPR -> FPR -> Other Inlet on FPR -> Return Line

That's how fuel travels on k swapped cars. There are some different pathways you can create but this is a basic setup. It's how I have it on mine.

I guess a pic would make more sense:

The long line on the left of the pic is from the Fuel filter to the fuel rail. The line on the other side of the fuel rail goes to the FPR which you can't see in the pic but it's under the intake.

So yes, you need those parts you mentioned.
