225/50/16's on Rota C8's

Would these fit or be too wide? The C8's are a 16X7 wheel, so I'm not sure if the 225's would be a bit too wide. Thanks.

What kind of car are you putting them on?

Also, let me know which type of tire you were planning on purchasing, because we can check with the manufacturers to find the acceptable rim widths for their tires.
